Woolavington Garden
Client Brief
A long, narrow garden, which was new to the client, needed to be adapted for dog agility training. Being an enthusiastic and talented gardener herself, she wanted a garden to include borders for a mixed planting scheme of her own devising, together with areas for growing vegetables and a socialising space. The garden already contained a lovely big summerhouse so it was a case of integrating the various elements into a cohesive plan.
As time went by and grandchildren arrived, the garden layout easily adapted to their additional needs.

Client Testimonial
“The garden of our new home in 2010 was far from inspiring – hard edged, with lots of concrete and straight lines. Its one saving grace was the field hedges on two sides and the meadows beyond.
Having discussed with Sarah that we needed the space to be dog and child friendly, welcoming for all and beautiful as well as practical, she went away and drafted her plan.
The plan was perfect for us – simple to implement, very pleasing to the eye, with gentle curves and symmetry and relatively easy to maintain. We loved it then and we still love it now!!”
